Riverfront romantic Asgardur vacation home of comfort

It was very comfortable. It was right on a river and had a beautiful patio and hot tub overlooking the river. It also had a sauna. We saw Northern Lights 3 times. Home was just out of Selfoss, so there was no city light, ensuing magical Northern lights. The master bedroom was huge and luxurious. The pull down window covers on all rooms totally blocked outside light, which was great for sleeping. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home! We stayed 8 days and drove to sightseeing events. This was much better than checking in to a new place each night. Wifi was great. We had 6 people staying there and each had several devices. WE had no connectivity problems. If I had to go back and do it again, I would definitely rent this home. I will always remember this luxurious place.

You have to call the gate from your phone to open it. A remote would have been better. I recommended to owner and they are going to look into it! There were no directions to sauna. But owners did respond when we emailed them. Master bedroom was huge and luxurious, but the other 3 bedrooms had limited floor space to leave suitcases open. If only one person is using room, there is plenty of space. It is just tight with two to a room in the smaller bedrooms. Nevertheless, I still recommend renting it.
