NZThis is a simply stunning property.. the views, the light, the big sliding windows - it is near perfect There is a steep climb from the car so best to pack carefully to avoid carrying too much stuff to the house Bed was a little uncomfortable and cushions for the chairs would have been nice Great hikes and a beautiful swimming hole Throughly enjoyed and highly recommended

USThis lovely, modern rental is perched on a hill in a small rural village, population 7 people, 7 (?) dogs, 4 cats, and about 20 Cachena cattle that freely roam. The views will capture your attention day and night. We stayed four nights and did day hikes around the community. Be sure to shop for everything you need before arriving. Wonderful hot shower!
A few ants showed up and apparently that’s what happens this time of year. Consider installing a stair rail, as well as a rod for hanging clothes in the alcoves of each bedroom.
PTWe were looking for a location inside the Peneda-Geres reserve and this place was exactly what we wanted. It has an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains, the peace and the “remoteness” we were looking for without sacrificing confort.

PLIncredible sunsets and sunrises…. this is the first thought that comes to my head when I think about the time I spent in Casa do Ramiscal. A perfect place for a rest, recharge of batteries and contact with nature. The house is cozy, comfortable and well equipped. I really appreciate the communication with Nuno – he stayed in contact with us until we reached the house in the evening. Muito obrigada Nuno!

LVThe views are breathtaking regardless of the weather. The house is super cozy and well equipped. We had plans to drive to nearby towns and to explore Geres. But once we arrived, we had no wish to drive anywhere else. We just enjoyed our stay. We are definitely coming back.
In the evenings some local dogs came to visit us. They seemed friendly, but as we were with kids, we were very cautious.
GBLocation is sublime. We loved the isolation and thrill of climbing up the mountain to the most spectacular views. The property is top notch- spotless , well thought out and beautifully presented.
Nothing really. Bringing the bags up from the car was a bit of a challenge though.
