parking space a little tight but manageable and a bonus in Matlock

Excellent location

No hot water first night and didn’t enjoy crawling on hands and knees under instruction from owner to fix boiler. He might have offered a few pounds off in compensation. Also had to fix TV. All this took the edge off at the start!

it’s in a perfect location for everything in Matlock, short walk to the town and 20 minutes away from Matlock bath. The cottage is a great size and has everything you need wether you’re staying a weekend or longer.

Nothing to comment on, we had a great stay.

It is a lovely cute cottage in a great location. Perfect for a couple. The bedroom was a good size and easily accommodated our two suitcases with plenty of extra room to walk around. Only a short walk to Matlock town centre. Matlock itself was ideally situated for the activities we had planned in the Peaks/Dales. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed. I especially loved the shower, bath and very comfy bed. I just wish we could have stayed for longer!

Minor thing but I really dislike leather sofas. I understand why they are useful in rented properties though, especially dog friendly ones. As other reviewers mentioned the parking space was very tight. We got used to it though so it wasn’t a big enough issue to knock a point off.

A lovely comfortable and cosy cottage, in an ideal location; and dedicated parking space. Our queries were answered quickly and effectively by the owner, by text. Resulting in a relaxed long weekend.
