The Cottage

we arrived in the dark and so woke to THE VIEW! in the morning. haven’t found a better view at breakfast in New Zealand

it isn’t closer to home ;)

if you want quiet and to be surrounded by countryside with your own beach this is perfect. there’s a farm shop on a Sunday so you can get homemade pizza and cake !

the kitchen and bathroom could do with an upgrade but the lounge, eating area and outdoor areas are fantastic

The location was amazing and so lovely and quiet. Rose and her puppy dogs gave us a warm welcome and the complimentary beer and wine was a lovely surprise.

The cottage needed a good clean. when opening the windows up to try and cool the cottage down and get some fresh air in the all the windows had remnants of mud wasp nests. everything needed a good wash and the main bathroom seem to have a click beetle infestation
