The Nest - St Ives

Lovely little place right in the centre of St Ives. Great kitchen, shower and living space. Window seat is great for people watching, very close to everything.

The noise from the street if you're using the sofa bed in the living room was quite a lot for me, but might not bother others and we were there on a weekend. The stairs/access is quite steep if you had any mobility issues it might be a problem.

The property was located in the very heart of ST Ives and was exceptionally appointed. Helen, the host, was very approachable & helpful. If we decide to return to ST Ives in the future, The Nest would be our 1st choice.

So, we stumbled upon this adorable little apartment tucked away on the main high street, right above a cool independent fashion shop. It was spotless, tidy, and in the perfect location. Waking up to the delightful aroma of freshly baked croissants wafting through the air, surrounded by a bunch of local bakeries. It was like a dream come true! Being in the heart of St Ives, we were just a stone’s throw away from the beach and restaurants. It was the ultimate convenience! For a small apartment, it had everything we needed for a couple, including a decent kitchen, a spacious shower, and a comfy lounge. There’s even a double-sized sofa bed, however the lounge doesn’t offer a closed door so bear in mind for any private couples. Little touches like crisps, fresh milk, and dog treats were very friendly. I could show my favourite bakeries and restaurants, but you should just walk around explore and create your own experiences. There are plenty to choose from. I will suggest you take a wander around early morning before it gets busy as it seems like a different world. If you do take a dog, the nearest beaches will only allow dogs before 10 am and after 6 pm. Considering the location and the competitive price, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great place to stay. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s hard to fault this little convenience hideaway however, if I had to say something I would suggest you bring your own pillows. I personally didn’t find the bed very comfortable.

New and nice bathroom and the location, would be the 2 good things about the place.

I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the room. The towels were visibly dirty, the bed sheets seemed unchanged, and there was dust everywhere. The smell of mold was so strong it was hard to tolerate. The curtains were moldy, and the overall feeling was one of total neglect. In addition, the kitchen appliances were very dirty and unusable. I do not recommend this property.

The one bedroom apartment was clean, easily accessible, and a lovely, modern accommodation. We highly enjoyed and recommend the Nest for your stay in St. Ives, UK. Great bathroom and kitchen facilities.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the accommodations except there was no additional toilet paper. Please keep additional toilet rolls under the sink.

It was clean and tidy in a very conveniant location. It has a lovely window seat to people watch, whilst enjoying a morning cuppa or late night drink. Bonus having a pasty shop opposite, 😁

There was only 2 things i didnt like, firstly the door opening onto the stairs and secondly the floorboards between the bedroom/bathroom needs looking at. Other than these, I couldnt fault anything else and would stay here again.

Excellent location in the middle of town. Cute apartment with very good facilities.

Lovely flat right in the heart of town. Great location and well stocked. The place was very clean and cosy. We loved sitting at the front window and watching people go by.

This is not something we didn't like but maybe to be aware of: the door frames are quite low. My partner who is six feet bumped his head a number of times. To note for taller travellers. He eventually got the hang of ducking between rooms.
