Old cottage without modern facilities. Need renovation. Rooms are small.

Cute little cottage, Close to town centre, easy to warm up in the evening.Beautiful garden.

Heat pump played out in the evening on the second night, had problems with electrical appliances,despite following instructions

This was a great self-contained property to stay at. It had a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely rear garden. We had great weather when we stayed so we were able to use the garden. You can walk into Te Anau from the property.

The bathroom facilities left a lot to be desired. The basin was tiny, and located in the toilet area, and the shower was also pretty basic.

That door and key is an issue. They key is fiddly and takes several tries to get it to work. Even after doing what the sign suggested it still is hit and miss.

Half of the outlets did not work. Had to mess with electrical to get one to work for cpap . Cutting boards were unusable.

We sent a request to cancel a transaction through Booking. Meanwhile the owner has not responded to the complaints. 1. The house is not 105 meters as indicated on the website, its real size is between 40-50 meters. The house is small and crowded. 2. The house is stuffy and smells stale of old wood. 3. The kitchen cabinets are old with a suffocating smell of old wood, and the dishes also absorbed the smell. 4. There is no sink for brushing teeth. Had to use the sink in the bathroom, or the washing machine. 5. The blankets are old. 6. To our astonishment, the soap was mixed with water. It's simply unbelievable, how they try to take advantage of guests who paid a lot and received disappointment and the feeling that they took advantage of us and cheated us!
