"Not what we expected, no mention of the construction going on the entire stay."

beuatiful location, house was built to take advantage of the view to the water. Big windows, beds were comfortable, house was clean.

It was not mentioned on Booking.com that there was a house being built right next to the house. When we arrive, they were using pressurized water to dig the holes in the sand for the concrete posts that would support the new construction. The huge compressor they used was running full blast, and was a river of water running in front of the entrance to the house, we had to wait 10 minutes for themt ostop so we could walk through the mud and sand to get into the house with our suitcases.. Then they ran the compressor again for another hour, we could barely hear ourselves think. The construction continued the remaidner of our stay, although not as bad as the day we arrived.
