La casita de Candida

Maria was extremely responsive to messages and did her best to be as helpful as possible with whatever I needed. The property itself has a jolly, vibrant exterior filled with potted plants; the interior seems to have been renovated recently and is clean and in excellent condition, with pretty much everything you could ask for. An especially nice touch was a basket of goodies left for guests. The location was convenient for easily exploring the areas of Tigaday and La Frontera on foot, and the rest of the island by car. I'd have no hesitation to book La Casita again if I were to return to El Hierro!

The property seems to have quite thin walls and adjoins one or two other residences that have families with young children, which means some noise from time to time.

The accommodation is comfortable, clean and well equipped. There is a parking lot if you come by car. The bus station is not far from the settlement. There are several shops nearby.

Unfortunately, there was a pipe break in the apartment on the first night, and we had to wait for the mechanics in the morning.
