Hill End Cottages

Great cottage in small village with easy access to Peak's. Local pub is just a quick walk down the road with good food on offer. Cottage is private and good facilities throughout. Excellent shower and comfortable bed.

Lovely little cottage. Host was responsive as we had a power cut in the local area and she sorted out finding the info for us and all was well. Beautiful views from where we were and good driving distance to many cool spots. Included a few basic amenities like tea, coffee and some snacks.

The default heating timer left us a little cold at night, but was easy to override.

Made such good use of the small space and felt homely from the moment we stepped inside. This was a perfect base to relax and refuel between walks and adventures in the surrounding areas!

Our only slight issue was that the WiFi and TV signal dropped on one of our nights presumably due to bad weather but there’s not much that can be done about this.

Lovely little cottage with everything you could need! We had many cosy nights in with the log fire, plenty of cooking facilities and the bath was a dream! Secure garden for the dog which was lovely with a coffee looking out on a morning! We went to the greyhound pub you can walk to in a few minutes which also did lovely home made food and friendly! Super clean and cosy!

The property only has one designated parking space which unfortunately if a car parks there from the surrounding properties you have to hope to get a spot a bit further down on the bank at the side of the road.
