Valentine's House

Lovely small home, well decorated, very clean, spacious, comfortable beds and furniture. Great access as you can park at the front door. One level so easy to get luggage in and out. Our host was very helpful and welcoming and communication was excellent. We would happily stay again on our next visit.

The garden is full of weeds and overgrown. We didn't use the front patio area as it looks derelict. We spent very little time inside and the weather was not great, so this did not really matter but if you wanted to sit out on the patio it would not have been very pleasant.

Nice quirky house with many likeable personal touches. Parking right outside. Well appointed large kitchen, three bedrooms; our bed was very comfortable. Big sitting room with sofa. Good WiFi. The weather when we stayed was cold - but the available heating options (moveable radiators and blow heater in bathroom) kept us comfortable. Easy walking access to beautiful walled town and many restaurants. We only stayed one night but the house would be more than adequate for a longer stay. We were in contact with the owner, Luis, who was ok with us moving in before the agreed 'check in' time. Luis also took the time to recommend several of his favourite restaurants. We enjoyed a great meal at A Casa Nova de Ramiro.

We used the hand held hose as a shower in the bathroom, as the amusing 'watering can' shower head was artistic (!) but not really practical :)

The decor was unique!

Beautiful house in a great location. Walking distance to Obidos Castle as well as supermarkets. Information for check in was perfect and made it very easy and stress free

Good location, spacious, easy communication with the host

There was visible mold in all 3 rooms, on the walls, on the bed head-boards. The entire place was smelly (mold smell) which is very bad for the health. When we woke up in the morning, the windows were wet (due to condensation). The entire place needs a serious renovation. Thankfully we only stayed for one night.

Very well located. Quiet neighborhood, near the entrance of the old city. The house was clean, well-equiped and confortable. It was easy to park our car.

Great location. Short walk to centre of Óbidos.

Painted concrete everywhere. Not to my taste.
