Utrudniona komunikacja z właścicielem obiektu (brak odpowiedzi przez ponad 24h). Zaniedbany stan techniczny (awaria zmywarki skutkująca zalaniem kuchni, nieszczelna i niefunkcjonalna słuchawka prysznicowa).

Beautiful house, well located, spacious, comfortable, charming interior, with all necessary equipment. Two bathrooms.

There was a bit low water pressure in the kitchen tap and in the shower.

Remote Tuscan Cottage

Treatment from the Owner. We booked this property knowing that a fan would be provided. It is summer & get extremely hot so we knew this would be essential to our comfort. The fan had broken several days before our arrival but he did not inform us about this before hand. He only did something about it when I asked bookings to intervene. We got a fan delivered in pieces which had vital pieces missing, no tools & for us to put together. That was then replaced the following day with another in pieces left for us to put together with no tools. Together with text messages saying we should think ourselves lucky at staying at his place. No apologies but suggesting we are making a fuss. It was 30C in the Cottage with all the windows opens & no breeze. We had 3 sweltering sleepless nights & the cottage was unbearable hot. We did not mention the filthy floor, broken lounger as sleep & comfort was out main priority. As according to his text messages we were making too much fuss anyway. I very unpleasant stay, avoid. I have stayed all over Italy & all over the world & never been treated so rudely by a host.

It is a very nice appartment in Tuscany. Solid, stone walls keep you well isolated from the outside heat - and at the same time they would provide for a comfortable night sleep - you really do not need air-conditioning. Just be informed, that it is an appartment with two double beds - it is not a villa with own swimming pool. But I find it better this way, as we have been in Tuscany in order to travel around and not to get tanned by a pool. Tuscany is just too beautiful to sit. There is a very good pizzeria in Alberoro nearby, you may sit outside, sipping Tuscany wine and enjoying the views to hills and mountains around. Very lovely place.

As this is a traditional Tuscany house, there are several steps inside the appartment - so when walking inside, you need to look down. Not a big deal, but it is not a recommended location for a person with some walking disabilities.
