The fact that we had a tv that worked Been able to prepare our own food

Although it looked good on the photo , there was dust and the carpet smelt .Very ungenic mouldy .From the front door entrance living room stunk of stale cigarette smell .Outside Rubbish piled up forgot to take a photo of this.We had bought with us wipes to do general clean down .Once cleaning cupboard what we thought was a screw , was actually a rusty nail protruding my finger went into this going to have a teatus injection . Feel that we deserve some of the monies paid .When we got there called the landlord told him that the place we was not satisfied he kept telling me it was clean . Tv louge paintwork very dusty . Kitchen cooker wasleft dirty, Pots & pans not washed properly. Fridge /freezer iced up and we had to clen this . Yes we expect to wipe down but not to the extent we did So soory but we got so fed up with it that we just tolereratedit. Bathroom shower screen was full of built up dirt and grime We did not have a shower there only sink wash for the 3nights . We would have done better staying in a 2 star hotel The whole house needs repainting only then can they charge this amount of money , can you advise if some form of compensation is available?? Mostly everthing , not sure if i would book through Booking .com .Do you regulate these or see them as an organisation.

It was a nice quiet location, that was close to the city centre and local attractions.

The property had a really musty smell that has clung to our clothes and other items.

Bed linen spotless

No plugs for bath & hand basin, shower facility not very clean, no extra toilet as described. television viewing poor relating to sofa position. Constant security light from across front road coming on and off lighting up front bedrooms so was unable to sleep well, also no control over hallway light staying on through the night, blackout blinds would have solved problem. Carpet at front entrance door trip hazard. No USB sockets, Top floor bedrooms mattresses very hard, Key safe box set to high had difficulty reaching. Generally, the whole house smelt very musky as recycling bins directly at the front leaving bad smell drifting into house. No drinking glasses only wine glasses, and parking places very poor.

The beds were clean and comfortable and there was plenty of space for a family of 5.

The blinds were thin and let in all of the light so myself and the children woke up early. Shower could do with resealing as black mould around the edges.

Good location. Easy to find a close parking space. Everything works in the house. Clean beddings and towels.

The house has unpleasant smell in the hall and living room, kitchen is the worst; kept the kitchen window open didn't make any difference. The wall behind the cook and cooker hood is covered in grease. The mould and stain in the shower is too noticeable.
