Barns Bothy

The location nice and quiet, lovely and warm, the welcome pack was much appreciated, very clean, the shower so good,

The settee was quite low and not comfortable, OK for a short sit down, but not for a couple of hrs, my back was sore

We liked the very rural position of Barns Bothy. Our foster dog, Rosie, took full advantage of the walled garden for ball throwing very safely and walks from the door and in the small arboreteum opposite the property. Lots of owls calling at night and we spotted a red squirrel! The road to Barns Bothy is a bit bumpy but the scenery is just lovely. The "Tweed Walk" runs very close by and is a delight. Barns Bothy is very comfy and everything was there for our stay. Thank you.

Very pleasant stay in beautiful and quiet surroundings. Breakfast & some supplies + bottle of wine on arrival. Would certainly recommend and return in the near future.

Location and plenty of space outside

Bathroom sink and mirror need replacing. It would have been really useful to have known in advance re what food you were providing cos we doubled up on things, and it would have been especially good to know what coffee machine you had so we could have brought our own pods.

We loved our stay at Barns bothy! Beautiful location and the property itself was lovely and well equipped for a 2 person stay. The breakfast items provided was a nice touch and communication prior to the stay was excellent.

Fabulous place in a beautiful setting it had everything we need and our dog Fred loved the walks along the river

Great quality. The little extras were fabulous especially the Scottish hand soaps and creams

Excellent breakfast was left at the cottage. So nice to meet Lou Lou at the cottage who was kind enough to show us through Neidpath Castle another beautiful accommodation suite overlooking the beautiful river Tweed with many walking paths . From the cottage you can do many day trips around this amazing part of Scotland.

Amazing setting, wonderful place, friendly owner, great walks, beautiful building. The porch was awesome to contain our dog whilst she relaxed following a superb walk. The fire was so cozy, the bath was amazing and the facilities were perfect. Will be back as soon as we are able.

Nothing really, would like to have stayed longer.
