Casa Antonia

La anfitriona era maravillosa y el trato fue excepcional, el entorno es muy bonito. Es un pueblo en una montaña.Buenos restaurantes cercanos.

Está muy alejado de todo (necesitas un coche para desplazarte)y unas cuestas muy pronunciadas, la carretera es de difícil conducción. El apartamento es amplio, pero, son incómodas las camas.

Erg vriendelijke host, ze stond altijd klaar met tips of wanneer we iets anders nodig hadden. Het appartement is ruim (ruime slaapkamer en badkamer), de zithoek wat minder. Mooi uitzicht op de bergen rondom en heerlijk rustig gelegen. Het appartement is gelegen in een leuk dorp met winkeltjes en restaurants, voor het centrum moet je wel een kwartier lopen.

De inrichting van het appartement is een beetje ouderwets. Het appartement is gelegen in een dorp op een heuvel/berg, dus je moet er wel rekening mee houden als je ergens heen wilt, dat je eerst 20 minuten naar beneden moet rijden. Het laatste stuk weg richting het appartement is smal en steil.

📍Amazing location to visit around Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. 🌄We were greeted every morning with a beautiful sunrise and had a view of Mt Versuvius in the front of the house. 🚙Car park was available and accessible 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧Antonia and her parents treated us like family, everything was managed in an instant. My husband's sole came off, and her dad offered to fix it. 💚Perched on a hill, in a rural area of Pimonte, surrounded by olive trees and greenery 🥐Freshly baked pastries available down town, which was a few minutes drive away Although basic, the apartment served all our needs, thank you for hosting, and also the little treats and coffee ❤️

Pimonte is a very good starting point for exploring the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Naples, Pompei and surrounding. In this regard, House Antonia is an excellent choice. It is a typical country house with all the characteristic features of this type of property. A vegetable garden, some small domestic animals, dogs barking and roosters crowing. The apartment you will get is on the first floor of a family house. You have a bedroom and a living room with a kitchenette attached to it. The bathroom is spacious and clean with a small bathtub attached to it. The hosts are very friendly and always willing to help if needed. To keep it from being hot inside the apartment, the windows and doors to the porch have external blinds that you must keep down. The washing machine in the bathroom is a big bonus, especially for longer stays. It would be great if there was also a coffee machine ( this is Italy after all ), a microwave and renewing the towels. Something about the door locks could also be considered: they squeak and make a noise, especially at night. All in all we had 4 memorable days in this home. Big thanks to our hosts!

Extremely friendly hosts, they gave us fruit and vegetables from their own garden and a bottle of their selfmade wine. Antonia's mom is always up for some small chat. From here we visted Pompei and the Visuvius vulcano. There's an excellent restaurant in town that makes you a 60cm long pizza with a mix of flavors. We had a great 4-day stay here.

Our van was a bit too big to park near the appartment, but they let us park on their property a bit down the road.

Antonia is an awesome host. She is caring and helpful. Anything you need she will try to fulfill it. I would stay there again easily. I loved the perfect view the property has to the Naples city and, of course, the Vesuvius. she has her own garden with vegetables and herbs that is totally adorable. I wish I had the time to ask to tasty her own olive oil as she also make her own. I loved being there. Plus, her mother is something else lol. Does not speak english at all, but talks to you as if you have lived on Italy for 30 years. lovely lady.

It’s not something I disliked, but if you are by car, you might need to plan leaving early to Sorrento or Naples as the traffic is chaotic on all that area as the streets all over that area(not just Piemont) are tiny, and the traffic is beyond chaotic.

amazing place !! really felt like home and sooo welcomed by the hosts, Antonia and parents ♥️ the heating was sufficient, and more than enough towels provided !! didnt have to worry about anything and Antonia was sooo helpful and responsive through Whatsapp 🤗 hot water was enough for all 4 of us to comfortably shower and the parking space v convenient and near. bonus was Antonia ordering the best pizza for us on the last night, and gifting us a bottle of their home-made wine 🥹✨ i really really recommend this place !! it was a good base for us to explore the amalfi coast, with insane food nearby like La Quiete and Pizzeria da Silvia recommended by Antonia !! 10/10 would definitely come back 🥰
