"Cute comfy little house with nice decoration."

Initially, we had some difficulties locating the place but when we got there we found Skye View Cottage very comfortable and homey. The host greeted us with various coffee and tea and some biscuits. The Cottage was meticulously and flawlessly decorated with local photos and material.

"Comfortable and cosy stay"

Comfortable and cosy rooms. Includes a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and even a washing machine to do all our laundry. House was equipped with everything we needed for a long stay. Great communication from the host, we felt very welcome. Perfect location to explore Portree. Highly recommend

"Sufficient for a short stay to explore the region"

The location is very convenient to exploring Isle of Skye & is close to the centre of Portree. Right next door to Marmalade Hotel & a Chargrill Restaurant.

For the price we had to pay, the apt was very basic, compact & tight for our family of 4. Perhaps that’s just because of the location. It also smelled a little musky inside. Bedroom blinds were slightly moldy

"Nice place in the center of portree and a very nice host."

The host had taken steps to leave us little snacks. This small gesture meant that we did not have to rush out for essentials. The host also had left laundry detergent, again a small but thoughtful gesture.
