Hof Welzinge is a farmhouse in the countryside of Middelburg, situated next to a dairy farm with cows, horses and sheeps. We loved the view of the animals, the sound of the cows, and pastering sheeps around us. Our apartament was tastely renovated and comfortable with a well equipped and high quality kitchen.

There were some small things that annoyed us, for example the lack of dishwasher sponge, handwashing liquid in the toilet, or the fact, that there was not enough toilet paper for 4 person for 3 nights, and that you have to pay for the towels or bring your own.

Fabulous accommodation! We were a family of 8 and there was plenty of space for everyone. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, open plan lounge, laundry facilities in separate cellar area. All modern and comfortable. The fact that there is no TV made it even better and we availed ourselves of the many board games available. There is also a fairly well stocked library if you speak/read Dutch. There is also a great play area for children. Fresh flowers and cupcakes were a lovely welcoming touch.

Seriously, nothing! If you don't like listening to sheep and birds, watching the sunset and just generally relaxing, it may not be for you :)

Very nice new apartment, very clean and well kept

The water in the shower is a bit strange, difficult to wash away the soap, maybe it is harder water from a local well... TV is missing from the apartment and some very basic things that could make everyday life easier (a hand soap for example or a hanger for clothes in the rooms). Wifi is very low speed.
