The place is ever so peaceful and relaxing everything you could need, the hot tubs always the best

The road to the place is a bit bumpy you have to drive slow to avoid damaging your car unless u drive a 4x4

"Snow White's Cottage, more of a nightmare than a fairy tale experience."

The cottage was clean and warm. We enjoyed the hot tub but were put off using it because we didn't have a working shower to use afterwards.

Arrived in the pouring rain and waited ages to get an answer to the door even though we had given an arrival time, Eventually a very flustered lady answered and told us our cottage was unavailable as the shower was broken but when we said we particularly wanted Snow White Cottage we were told someone would be round later to sort things out. Initially we didn't even unpack but no-one came that night or indeed for the rest of our 2 night stay. So we had to wash in freezing cold water and even more problematic find somewhere to buy bottled water as the water from the drinking tap ran green and tasted disgusting even when boiled. On check out when we asked why these problems had not been sorted the guy said his wife hadn't told him about them. No refund was offered as the guy suggested we could have walked over to the main house for a shower. Really.

"relaxing time"

lovely quite place to chill relax in front of log fire and a relax in hot tub so will like to visit again

the shower was to hot or cool sometimes it was hard to get right temperature .

"Great hot tub but tarnished with no running water, shower or flushable toilet."

The hot tub was great and some beautiful views.

We had no hot shower for the whole weekend and for 10 hours we had no water whatsoever and couldn't flush the toilet. I raised this with the owner multiple times and nothing was offered in anyway to compensate for our romantic weekend being ruined by this. Extremely disappointed, especially as we travelled 4 hours to this location and couldn't even shower or use the toilet properly.
