Wonderful location. Good walking distance to Ballater. Lovely property and comfy bed!

We booked this cottage for a quiet weekend break away from work stresses. Couldn't have booked a better location, the cottage was just off a quiet country road, with a wood nearby to walk our dog. Clair (the owner) kept chickens, so an honesty box at the end of the road was ideal for fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning. The cottage was warm and cosy and well stocked with all the utensils and crockery that you might need.

Location was close to Ballater. Easy access to enter the property and the huge bed was welcome sight after an 8hour drive.

perfect tranquil location within easy walking distance of lovely ballater. Dog friendly and good immediate local woodland walks. A great base if you want to sightsee, go walking or cycling on / off road. The hosts were very pleasant and the accommodation was very clean and well equipped. Also had a dishwasher which was nice. Parking was easy too with lots of space to do so. Price was really good for standard of accommodation
