P74 - Riverside Family Pod with Hot Tub

Amazing little place, the pod was super comfy and well equipped and the bar/ restaurant is fantastic

The location was idyllic, so peaceful and completely relaxing.

If anything, trying to access and remove the cover for the hot tub would be challenging for some, but it's a really minor thing!

Beautiful location by the river. very comfortable stay for a small family and the hot tub is the best part. The river and the stroll around the lodge blew our mind away. The food in the Quarry bar and grill was also yummy and sumptuous.

A few basics like toiletries would have been nice. Luckily they do leave a message that no toiletries will be provided because of which we carried our own.

Location and the fact PM time there was a restaurant on site where food could be purchased in a sit down meal setting.

The only negative for me was cooking in a Gas Oven. Sausages that normally take 25mins to cook took 2hours to get any colour on them

The property was exactly like the photos. Absolutely perfect for the two of us. Hot tub by the river was perfect and a main reason for choosing this property. Well equipped and tastefully decorated. Really comfortable bed. Close to main roads and places to visit. Whole site was clean and nicely designed.

Only a couple of things that would have made our stay even better, but certainly not complaints… Could do with some sort of screen around the hot tub ( roadside ) as the property opposite looked directly down onto it. Affording no privacy. Plastic drinking containers for the hot tub. The boiler was very noisy, so the ability to turn off overnight would have been great. A sharp knife (for cooking 🙂)
