Walnut Block Cottages

We had one of two cottages on the property which were absolutely lovely. It was well appointed, so peaceful and private. In fact, of our 10 days away this was our best accommodation. The view was amazing of the vineyard right outside the cottage, along with sheep grazing amongst them. Close to town and other amenities. The continental breakfast provided was great. Loved that they had a Nespresso machine. I opted to open a bottle of the Walnut Block Sauv which was available for purchase (but for which we were given a voucher) and it was lovely! Helen was easy to communicate with and willing to help with anything we may have needed.

Located right next to a vineyard with views of the mountains in the background and sheep grazing. Very relaxing. Well designed and appointed. Great bathroom. Comfy bed. Kitchen facilities. Also provided with a wine voucher to purchase some of the wine they make (very good!). Short drive to lots of wineries and city centre.

Absolutely everything! Stunning location .

The cottages are absolutely wonderful. The location is a dream. Sitting on your balcony with a morning coffee or evening wine looking out over the vines in silence. The interior is spacious and with an extremely comfortable bed, big bathroom and well stocked kitchen. Breakfast supplies included and Helen on hand for anything you need. Don't hesitate to book this place. Loved it!

The setting is beautiful and the cottage very comfortable, spacious and private. The continental breakfast ingredients were delicious and generous. We also found the owner very helpful.
