It was just a lovely, comfortable, warm and friendly place. 😊 It was close to town for restaurants etc. Would recommend for families

We loved how much space we had in the house. Plenty of room where we could all come together but then plenty of space if we wanted our own quiet time.

Unfortunately there were a few things wrong with the property and for the price we paid I would have hoped they would have been fixed. When we first arrived it was a little later in the evening getting cold and the lock box was not where the instructions had said. I called booking.com but they didn’t answer. After a long time of searching the outside of the house we finally found where it was. These instructions need to be changed. The fridge leaks into the kitchen floor. The oven doesn’t work which was needed for our bigger family. The main bedroom door cannot be shut as the bottom hinges have broken. The latch of the window in the double room has also come out of the wood so the window cannot be locked. Some of the chairs outside have snapped and are unsafe.

Quiet in a cul-de-sac. Very handy location.

Lock box was a challenge to find

Dead and alive cockroaches, huge black spider, bed lice and ants in one bed, water from the fridge on the kitchen floor, coffee pod machine didnt work, lockbox access was a disaster and an accident ready to happen. The whole weekend was a disaster for my sisters and myself with the issue of the bed lice and ants in one bed. We have received a token refund but it has totally put me off booking again with Bachcare. Obviously, no one is checking properly the condition of these properties before they are let - the price for this property was astronomical for what we experienced.

It had everything you needed, home away from home. Location close to town centre, we had a car rental so easier to get around especially as we needed to get back to where the airport/Air Force was located and that was only 12 min away by car. Unfortunately one of our party could not make it but it definitely would have been very comfortable for 4 people.

We arrived as it was getting dark on a winter’s evening and unfortunately we could not find the lock box and it took over an hour to find. My father is 87 and he was finding it colder as the time went by, he could have gone and sat back in the car but didn’t. I think this has to be addressed and the lock box put higher and more visible with better instructions, it was very low behind long grass and plants. When it’s getting dark and at night you can’t see anything. Thankful we had our phone torches.

Not enough heaters - need separate heaters for bedrooms. Lots of doors
