Wensum Cottage

Loved the location; the garden; well stocked kitchen. The cottage was very clean; easy access; fab parking; picnic bench (it needs fixing though); good room sizes; the shower. We all like the living room area. This might be our 4th visit to Wensum Cottage?

One of the dining room chairs is broken: there was no salt or pepper: the hinge on the door of bedroom 2 needs oiling; I think half a toilet roll for 3 people for 2 nights is a bit mean: I liked the high pillows but my family didn't: the shower gel dispenser was empty.

Spacious with well equipped kitchen. Good location with nearby Tesco and a good pub ( the Cock Inn).

Musty smell when we first entered. But too be expected with an older property like this. Some basic condiments like salt and oil would be useful for travellers, otherwise generally good

Location. Responsive landlord. Had the necessary facilities.

Excellent location and such a cute cottage. Immaculately clean and well stocked with all the items we could possibly need. Exactly what we were hoping for.

we didn’t actually stay in the property above, but given a much bigger cottage next door. We had lots of space, the cottage was very old and decorated in keeping with its age. I loved the kitchen, in fact I loved all of it.

I would have liked a few more cooking utensils, a teapot etc. The small items like these in the kitchen were very limited. There was a dishwasher but if the house had a full compliment of seven or eight guests the dishwasher would have had to have been used after every single meal. Also I would have liked to have found a couple of board games etc for guests to use. Almost every cupboard in the house was empty.

Lovely presented cottage, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Good location to the village pubs and cafe, and the bus into Norwich.

We were very happy with the cottage and couldn’t have asked for more.

The location was superb

There was no bottle opener. So we bought one at £3.50 and left it for the property. The toilet seat and toilet itself was lose and the property could really do with a re-painting and general spruce up and a dishwasher would have been nice.

Cottage was as described. Clean, functional, warm = central heating worked. Convenient location for village and Norwich Parking was private, off-road outside the front of the property

I would have preferred a double-bed but knew I was getting single beds in bedroom.
