Lovely little character apartment with very good facilities, which allowed us to self cater, which is our preference. Owner was very responsive to questions. Washing machine was very handy and easy to use. Apartment was easy walking distance from the train station with several easy options to access the airport.

Shower is very tiny, which we understand given the space constraints. However if you are a large person, showering will be difficult for you.

parfume in the appartment was very strong and annoying…. the owner promised to reduce it for the next travellers…. the shower would need renovation😉 otherwise everything nice and perfect!

Great location, 10 min to center by foot and 1 min to central station, from where you can take a train to Taormina. Easy and fast transport from/to the airport. The host is great, ready to help you with everything you need. Coffee, water, small breakfast and a souvenir gift come as bonus when you get there. Clear and easy instructions for self check-in. Simple interior and comfortable bed, much more space than standard hotel room. Perfect place to stay few days as a tourist if you do not like hotel rooms and you prefer to feel the local home spirit. There are awesome small restaurants around, where you can taste the local homemade cuisine.

Limited daylight comes in but it wasn't problem for us because we were in Catania to go around, but not to stay in all day long.

The owner was always available (via whatsup) for any questions and cared that everything is ok for us, even extended checkout time. The apartment is not too big, but very functional and located close to center and train and shuttle bus stations.

WiFi connection was not always stable, but somehow it worked.

All in all a perfect choice - the location, the communication with the owner, and the amenities were all great.

It is a bit dark in the apartment but that is not a big deal - it seemed common for first floor apartments around.

We liked staying here. Very friendly owner, good facilities, spacious, small details. Good price.

Some noise from the street (its a small street), I recommend taking earplugs with you.
