Everything you can possibly need is supplied, lovely hosts and very comfortable.

Very cute and comfortable cottage. The hosts were there to greet us even though we got there just after 9pm A lovely place!

The bach was roomy and had everything you needed.

The mattress on the queen bed was extremely hard, we both woke up with very sore backs. We notice that this had been mentioned more than once in their visitors book. Hopefully they will do something about this because it will put us off rebooking.

Good location, nice having milk etc left in the fridge.

1. Arrived for a wedding and elderly parents were looking after children and not staying. however host living next door came to talk to us twice, once when I was in shower and told my elderly parents they needed to pay extra $50 night to stay (we’re not staying) and asked us to check out earlier than the booking stayed. Really intrusive! People want privacy when they stay! 2. Sheets need to be hot washed! Sheets didn’t feel or smell very clean. Need a sanitizing hot wash. Would be great having cotton duvet covers, rather than sweaty polyester. 3. Mould in the shower around edges. 4. Found a dirty ear plug under the bed. 5. Long hair found around the juice bottle in the fridge. Just needed better attention to detail for cleaning.

Thistle Do is a great country cottage, well appointed and nicely decorated. It has absolutely everything you need with some lovely extras such as the beautifully packaged condiments. Beds were great. Roomy space with nice furniture. Washing machine in the cottage. The first aid kit was a thoughtful addition.
