The gorgeous views and serene ambience coupled with the comfortable bed made this a most relaxing stay. We hope to return to this special part of the world one day soon.

Fantastic home in equally fantastic location. So so spacious. And loved the alfresco outdoor area under the grape vines. Was perfect for our ploughman platters lunch with a crisp wine.

We stayed at Arthur House at Carrick Winery on the night of my Birthday.. The unit was really a 3 BR individual housing unit. Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. The unit does not have air conditioning, so the evening started out a little warm in the house. There were no screen on the window, so bugs were somewhat a nuisance. We did a wine tasting at the vinyard. The cheeseboard was great, but due to warm outdoor temperatures, the wines themselves were warmer than we like. Food is not offered at the property after 5 pm, so we had to drive to town about 15-20 minutes away from the lodging. Food options in town were multiple and the Thai food we ate was good. Overall, the birthday celebration was great as we sampled 4 wineries in the area about an hour west of Queenstown.

Ventillation in house was not superb, as we experienced bugs in evening, and warmer than desired temperatures.
