"Fabulous place for a family Stay"

Cosy, warm, spacious - has everything you need. Like a home away from home. Jolanda made this trip absolutely the best it could be She went up a beyond Im so ever grateful. The shower was wonderful an powerful.

"Comfortable stay in quiet house central to local attractions."

Cromwell is well located for exploration of the Queenstown Lakes district. The cottage is on the outskirts of town, a five minute drive to local restaurants and the shopping centre. It is quiet. The house is comfortable, the two double and one single bedroom were not large, but perfectly adequate. There was a full kitchen with a very generous amount of food, sauces, etc, so that we didn’t need to shop immediately. It is excellent value for money. The host was quick to respond to our queries. We would certainly stay there again.

We loved all the facilities at the accomodation, sofas and beds were very comfortable, and we were warm and cosy on the cooler evenings. It was lovely to sit out in the sun on the decking. The inside was spacious and enjoyed having the large dining table. The shower had great water pressure, and the toilet separate from the bathroom was a bonus. The foodstuffs (fruit, bread, spreads, cereal, milk, yoghurt, teas and coffees) were plentiful and enjoyable. The location, near the town’s southern exit was very handy for heading out of town to explore other areas such as Arrowtown/Queenstown, the wineries of Bannockburn and Lakes Hawea and Wanaka. Host, Jolanda, was very quick and helpful with communication, also - thank you 🙏😀 ** remember to let host know how many beds are required, as not all are made up

The laundry window and back door had no blinds nor coverings, and we felt quite vulnerable and open to others looking in, in the evenings/early mornings. It was noisy with traffic (cars and trucks), especially on weekdays, being in an industrial area and on a main route in/out of the town. If you were having an active holiday, or had children, I don’t think it would be an issue.
