SaffronStays Wildernest - 2-BR Dehradun villa with gazebo, barbecue and mountain views

Location is lovely. A bit outside town, so if in Dehradun for work and not familiar with the roads the location may not work. But as it’s set off and surrounded by nature, works either as a break en route elsewhere in the hills, or to simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings with lots of birdsong in the mornings and evenings it’s great. The staff Sandeep was very pleasant. Aditya competent manager. Good, simple home style food available a la carte.

I travelled to Dehradun with my mom and the owners of the villa noted that she was old and so rearranged rooms so she could easily access the garden from the ground floor! The hospitality was just so generous and kind, and we had a BLAST. The place is so beautiful we did not leave for 2 days!

Very attentive staff, cordial and helpful! The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Food menu could be expanded. We had difficulty finding the place. It would be good if there are some signboards along the way.
