Nothing, all was great

It's a lovely studio apartment, very clean and light. The bed is comfortable, the little kitchen has all the crockery and pans you need for a holiday and the two-ring electric hob warms up quickly. And it has underfloor heating, which was a joy to come 'home' to after a day out in January! The location is fantastic, with really stunning views. It snowed almost every day we were there, which was beautiful to wake up to. The roads are gritted, so we didn't even have too much trouble getting around despite the snow and ice, although there was one evening when we parked over the road instead of on site, because our Aygo with summer tyres couldn't get up the frozen cobbled drive. There are two pubs and a children's playground very close to the flat, and it's a great area for walks. You're also only 15 minutes or so from Cheadle in one direction and it's just a bit longer to get to the city. We had a wonderful stay.

We liked everything! I just want to share a warning for drivers who don't know the area: be careful at the crossroads at Boundary, as it's hard to see vehicles coming over the top of the hill there. My husband had a near miss with a fast-moving van!

Bed lovely and comfy, the studio was clean and warm everything I needed.

I arrived on 23 December, sadly became ill on 24th and my son had to come to pick me up Christmas morning I was too ill to stay my full 4 nights.

Everything. Easy to book and spoke to host immediately after booking and nothing was a problem. Studio ample for what we needed for and was dog friendly with no extra charge which is hard to find these days.

Nothing. The place was perfect. Shane had to come home. Could have stayed longer.

Lovely little studio apartment, had everything we needed, nice & clean & even met the owner, Jayne, who was lovely too.

Not anyone’s fault but the weather was rubbish. The property had kids swings, trampoline & other bits but kids were unable to play due to weather. Would definitely go back though.
