Malthouse Farm Cottage Carriage

Perfect location form Alton towers, lovely and clean and quiet, pub round the corner with play park and nice food.

I loved everything about this carriage... from how quirky it was, through to the use of space and coziness of it. The under floor heating makes for a toasty little carriage, and even found ourselves open the doors of an evening to cool off and take in the countryside sky's and air. We loved the whole key box idea, as this made it easy to access and also meant that it wasn't as stressful to arrive dead on time. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location and how self sufficient it all was. The area was very quiet and a small village, which is right up my street. There are plenty of supermarkets, shops and pubs with in a short driving distance.

It really is hard to come up with anything... The pillows were a little to flat, but that is more of a personal preference. Everything was spot on.

Something very different but excellent. Very comfortable with under floor heating. Surprisingly spacious. Had an excellent nights sleep. Just around the corner from the pub. Will stay again.

The location is great, very peaceful, loads of parking too The communication with the owner was great. The distance to churnet valley railway is only 10 minutes away.
