Lampay Chalets

Outstanding food. The host was super friendly and helpful. Fantastic views. Pet friendly. Fabulous neighbors.

Strong wind!

Karen has clearly put the effort into thinking through how her guests will use her chalets, with everything near and functioning well. We greatly enjoyed our stay, which includes us cooking a few meals and prepping sandwiches at home. The place was well insulated, had a nice warm shower and tap, and was very clean and tidy (there was just enough kit in there to do what you wanted, without crowding the place). In addition to all of this, you have the benefit of backing onto a pen for some of her farm animals, which are not afraid of coming right up to the fence (even if you have a barky dog). We loved watching all the lambs wriggle with excitement for their evening feed! Would be very happy to revisit, with the only limit being this is just for couples (or singles).

This is well suited for couples, but not for family units. Would love to see something more family sized in the future!

The property was in a fantastic place

Incredible view across to the Outer Hebrides. Karen was a very welcoming host. Although compact, cabin had everything you could need. The tame animals kept us amused, particularly James the sheep. Very dog friendly with enclosed garden area and walks across nearby fields.

Driveway very steep with gravel surface.

Amazing wee gem of a chalet. Chalet was quite remote, overlooikng a loch. Sheep, lambs, pigs, and geese very friendly too! Immaculately clean!

A big thank you to Karen who shared part of her daily life with us. We were expecting a short stay with a beautiful view... The good company of the lambs, hens, geese, ducks and especially James the sheep/dog, Dotty and Hilda the pigs only made our too short stay more enjoyable.

Views, animals, comfort, location, and kitchen space. The jam and scones were wonderful!

The location was beautiful -- on the ocean -- beautiful view, and lovely farm animals. Hosts were extremely helpful and hospitable.

Better wifi would be good.

Self catering facilities, the location, the view, the area nearby to walk the dog, comfy bed and very clean.

Only the bed or dining chairs to sit on to watch tv.

Everything about the property was fantastic! Would recommend to anyone to visit Lampay chalets
