Lanzarote - El Golfo

First of all, El Golfo boasts a perfect volcanic scenery and is a stunning place to stay and dine. The main attraction on Lanzarote, and my favorite spot in the Canary Islands so far, is Timanfaya National Park, which is just a 10-15 minute drive from the apartment. As for the house itself, it is spacious and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. Both the balcony and the terrace are amazing. We were delighted with the welcoming gifts and the little bathtub for our baby boy. The shower is very convenient, and the bathroom overall is excellent. The beds are comfortable, and the bedrooms are spacious. Parking space is always available, even when El Golfo is bustling with tourists.

It was a little chilly in January for us, but there were a lot of blankets provided. Maybe it worth upgrading the sofa in the living room.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, responding quickly to all questions. The apartment is on two floors. On the first floor, there is a large bedroom, and on the second floor, there is a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and another bedroom. The apartment has a large balcony where the sun shines from morning till evening. Everything necessary for cooking was available in the apartment. Essential supplies such as dishwashing liquid, garbage bags, toilet paper, shower gel, and soap were left in the apartment. As a greeting, fruits, wine, and cheese were left. Previous guests had left spices, sugar, salt and similar items for use.

Everything needed for cooking was available, but all the kitchen knives were very dull and needed sharpening. The apartment is located in an authentic old building where direct sunlight doesn't shine through the windows. Since we traveled in winter, when the weather was relatively cool and windy, it should be noted that the apartment can be chilly during this time. However, during hot weather, this is definitely a plus. Nevertheless, there were enough warm blankets and fleeces in the apartment.

The property has perfect location - lot of great restaurants in neighborhood and quiet in the evenings at the same time. The apartment was very clean and equiped with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts had greeted us with a delicious basket of food and drink - very warm welcome:) The property also has the roof terrace, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets. We hired a car and the location is perfect for visiting all the interesting places on the island. I must say, that El Golfo is located in the most beautiful part of Lanzarote. Definitely would love to come back :)
