The host allowed my sister to collect the keys for us which was great because we arrived very late. Beautiful location and view of the sea from the lodge. All the lodges looked lovely and they were well spread out so it felt like we were there on our own. Wonderful fresh water pond for swimming, grounds very well looked after and so peaceful. Great quality bedding and pillows which is something that you don't always get. It was self catering which I didn't really want to bother with since we were visiting family. Would definitely go back and would like to try one of the other lodges. Kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. High standard of cleanliness.

Very minimal decor which I liked but maybe could do with a few hooks on the wall to hang coats (or hanging space in the wardrobe). Also in autumn/winter it would be good to have a table and chairs inside the lodge since we had bad weather and it wasn't possible to sit at the outside table to eat.

The location is incredible, very peaceful, but close enough to the surfing and Ericeira that it's not inconvenient at all. The property itself was an incredibly relaxing space and we spent hours in the hammock just outside our particular accommodation, in the shade. Incredible natural swimming pool which I used daily for just cooling off an relaxing. Lovely terraces to sit and enjoy the sun, and the sunset! The accommodation itself, and we were in the one underneath the hosts' house, was well laid-out and felt spacious and calming. Kitchen was plenty for a 5-day stay, there was a rack where I could hang my wetsuit etc. and a hosepipe I could use to rinse stuff off after surfing.

Only critique is that the bed was fairly hard, but then, we're used to a soft bed at home so this is a very personal thing.

Design, pool, natural atmosphere, silence, dogs and the view. Perfect place!!!

incredible ❤️❤️❤️ Very nice hosts. They showed us the best places in the city, drove us to the city, took care of us They have an incredibly beautiful dog, beautiful nature and a house full of love. We will come back here again and again!!!

nice location, 10 minutes drive from Ericeira. Amazing view and cabin site, surrounded by trees.

Overall experience - wouldn’t book again. Mainly because the cabins are part of a property used by the host and family. And though that is more than fine, they use the lake without respecting the guests, talking out loud, leaving towels on the sun loungers for hours when no one is there. Cleanliness could be better - found some dead flies on the roller blinds The interior of the cabin is ok, but the bathroom is too small, especially the washbasin (too small for being functional).

Generally nice concept of wooden pods in the woods, designed in a modern nordic loft style, nature pond/swimming pool

No proper walkways to the pods, making luggage transport difficult from car to the distant pods, mosquitos and insects everywhere, too few fly screens, everywhere dead bug splatters on walls/blinds etc., bought a camping fly screen for over the bed to catch some sleep

Surrounding area and calm

No washing machine and small fridge but it wasn't that big of a deal anyway

Dog, comfortable bed!

Its a little paradise in the nature still only a 5 Minute drive away of the beaches around ericeira. We loved the calm and private athmosphere, the house was beautiful with a great taste in interior. The lake is an actual highlight. Be careful, its tempting to just spend the whole week reading and doing sports while enjoying the view without leaving the place once.

There could be a few more glasses and cups.
