Everything about the cottage exceeded our expectations. The layout, design, cleanliness and decor at the property was to a very high standard. The cottage is deceptively spacious and in an amazing location, convenient for beach and shops. Being pet friendly is an added bonus. We are already looking to book a return visit!

There was nothing we didn't like about the property and would highly recommend.

Location was amazing so close to the beach and amenities. Living space was excellent so spacious but also cosy at the same time. We had a fabulous time, some great takeaways nearby if you arrive later in the evening like we did. Everything was really clean and well kept. Would highly recommend!!

Everything was lovely. We forgot to bring some kitchen essentials with us, it would have been nice to have some misc items in the kitchen. The good thing is there is a co-op nearby.

Great location in the centre of town. Has everything needed for several nights stay. Lovely and fresh and clean. 10 mins drive from St Abbs Head - absolutely beautiful.

The booking.com publicity advises several times that parking is available on site. It does not say that this involves parking on a yellow line and hoping for the best. The free public car park is close by (up to 48 hours), but the way it is put in booking.com is misleading.

Excellent location you walk out the door and the beach is yards away. Parking was fine we parked outside the house but if there are no spaces you can park in the car park round the corner for free. The upstairs is huge really light and airy with the sky lights. TV and WiFi worked great. We slept well in the comfortable beds. There are plenty of places to visit in eyemouth, most were dog friendly too. We would come back and stay again

There were a few maintenance issues. The main bathroom sink does not clear properly, it really needs a paint refresh the walls are badly chipped and the woodwork looks grim. There are light bulbs out in both bedrooms. The rug in the living room needs to be cleaned it smelt really bad we had to roll it up and put it out the way (loads of stains on it from previous dogs I presume) Some complimentary tea coffee and milk would have been appreciated. It doesn't need to be expensive, just a nice option to make yourself a drink especially when you've driven for a couple of hours to get there

Lovely relaxing property.

Only issue was slow draining sink in main bathroom.

Beautifully laid out, light and airy, lots of facilities and great kitchen.

The only thing that was missing really was some complimentary soaps, ie shampoo, shower gel etc. not a major problem as co-op is across the road but was in a rich for a shower and had forgotten my own.
