Well equipped and cosy property

The property was situated within easy reach of places of interest such as Chatsworth House and Bakewell, it was also located near good walking routes.

I’m struggling to find anything I didn’t like although food storage would be a problem if you brought too much, fortunately there are shops a short drive away to buy stuff.

When we arrived our host greeted us and was so lovely. He told us where we could eat and the times the chickens and horses would be out as we had a dog. It was beautiful to be able to have a coffee and watch the horses walk around, greeting us as well. It was so peaceful and exactly what we needed.

We loved it.

The barest minimum of supplies to make a cuppa when we arrived. Some milk and a coffee maker would be a good extra to include.

This lodge is lovely been two times now and would go again, the walks are amazing and the sights are amazing, just love the whole experience.

There was nothing we didn't like.
