Charming just renovated 2 bed cottage in the centre of village

The cottage had everything we required for our stay. It had two rooms twin/double and a bathroom. They provided a good selection of basic toiletries, bedding and towels. Kitchen well equipped. Worked well as an alternative to a bed and breakfast for attending a wedding. Nice space at the back to sit in the sun and store a bicycle safely and safe parking on the verge. Easy walk to pubs and shops. Would book again if visiting the area.

I liked everything and was perfect for the price and convenience . It was home from home rather than luxury but comfortable, clean and well equipped.

Great location for our visit to Oulton Park. Loads of shops and places to eat near by. The cottage is in great condition and had everything we needed for our stay.

Nothing to dislike

This cottage is absolutely perfect for anyone who wants to stay in a home from home - it had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay, it was very modern, with good quality furnishings and kitchen, and was very clean. It was easy to find, easy to access and all the information was supplied to us in good time, and had parking on the driveway right next to the front door. Unfortunately, Booking.com made an incorrect listing and we had a problem with the number of beds; we needed 4 but there was only 3 (they listed one bedroom as 1 x double AND 2 x singles, instead of 1 x double OR 2 x singles) - we rang the host, Pamela, and she was so helpful, she arrived at the property within a few minutes, and even though it was not her error, she sorted out the problem and gave us another 1-bed property to use free of charge - I cannot praise her highly enough for sorting out this issue so quickly for us, and she was so kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her. We absolutely recommend this property, and this is the best customer service, ever!
