Dunray Cottage - Welcome to Havelock North

Clean and breezy space. All the basics in the kitchen + extras like a small bottle of milk and salt & pepper. Spa was a bonus. TV in lounge and one in each bedroom was great to keep granny, parents and teens all happy ♥.

Aircon was off when we arrived, the cottage was very hot inside. Took about 20minutes to get to a cooler temp. No aircon in the bedrooms, had to leave the doors open with lounge aircon on to keep cool at night - could not keep windows open, traffic was too noisy.

Exceeded all expectation, we absolutely loved it.

Only thing was the master bed is very firm.

Property was modern, clean and had everything we needed.

Everything was perfect and the spa pool was a great addition .

A little road noise but got use to it quickly

As its on a very busy road there is lots of road noise.

I loved there communication! They had a warm welcome and were easy to approach. I had to add an extra person to our stay. They messaged back that they were happy with me having an extra person with no extra charge to my stay. For our time spent at this amazing cosy cottage we were neighbours 😊 They didn't hound or bother us not once but we were left with a friendly neighbourly message with there contact details if we should need anything. I loved everything from the inside of there home all the way to the sheep in the backyard hahaha you thought of everything!! Nice warm homely touch away from home. Top marks with the cleanliness 100% ✓ My father who was apart of this trip is a chef an his exception level of what he calls "clean" is very high and he was very impressed. I would like to thank you both very much for being the greatest to deal with. Keep doing exactly what you both are doing!! Your home is beautiful. From my family to urs.. The bed in the master bedroom was a little hard for my back. Every one is different in there preference.

Location, Outlook, pet sheep, bed a++++ comfort. Kitchen, living and outdoor area amazing, really loved the smart tvs in each bedroom.

On the single bed, the sheet had some food marks and crumbs when we turned down the bed on first night. Wooden spoon in kitchen and bedside lamps would be really good.

Place is amazing, clean modern and had everything we needed for our stay. Location was good too, close to everything. We used the kitchen and washer/dryer for our clothes. Hot tub was perfect!

Washer/dryer combo was a first for us and had a bit of trouble figuring out how to use it. Definitely has nothing to do with the property or the hosts.
