Ballyheigue Guesthouse

Lovely house, ideal location. Host went way above our expectations. Had fresh bread and milk for when we arrived and the house was so clean.

We were a party of six. This was a surprisingly large house with 3 good Double bedrooms. A large main Bathroom and 2 en-suite. The Kitchen, Dining room and lounge were all contained in a large L shaped room. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area had a very large table so plenty of space for 6 and indeed for more. The lounge had plenty of comfortable seating etc. There was also plenty of private parking and a nice garden. Carmel who takes care of the house was very friendly and helpful and the owner, Kathleen made sure to contact us to ensure all was well and ensured that a tiny problem was taken care of without delay. . The village and beach were only a very short drive away. A great holiday for us.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The house is not new and a few items probably need a little maintenance but nothing took away from our stay. We would definitely return.

The house was wonderful, facilities super, everything that one would need was supplied in the kitchen , the kitchen living area were fabulously bright with large windows and fantastic views. Bedrooms were more than adequate and the beds were extremely comfortable. Bathroom facilities were also perfect. nice garden area to sit out and enjoy the sunshine also. The location just 2 km from village of ballyheigue was ideal. we visited the local beach many times and also Banna Strand and ballybunnion which are amazing places to enjoy, they are very unspoilt by commercial enterprises which was refreshing. The location of the property makes it so accessible to drive to all the attractions North Kerry has to offer.
