The cottage was lovely and cozy. The cottage was very clean and the beds were comfy. The location was perfect, just a walk across the countryside into Helmsley.

"Amazing views and lovely walks"

The hosts were super friendly and helpful. We booked a meal at the Italian restaurant in Helmsley on their recommendation and it was fabulous. The walk to Hemlsely was also easy to follow. The cottage was cosy and homely and the view was stunning. Just what we needed to recharge out batteries.

The bedroom was very hot and we struggled to sleep as we couldn't open the window very wide and it was quite small. A lighter weight quilt (or maybe just a sheet or blanket) and a fan would be good in the hot weather. The shower was not very powerful, but I appreciate it's difficult with water pressure in some rural areas.
