Botany House, in the heart of Hermanus

I loved the overall comfort of the cottage and the location was excellent, as well as being very safe - walking distance to everything.

I found the TV remotes difficult to use.

Vanessa, the owner was especially helpful and quickly responded to any queries. The apartment was great, extremely well equipped, including domestic kitchen/bathroom provisions etc. It was tastefully furnished and comfortable overall. Security is good and there’s an off road parking space which is very useful. Everything was walkable, including the coast and coastal path. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Sadly, the sofa bed was uncomfortable.

Location the very best, hardly used our car, could walk everywhere. Very secure. Everything needed for selfcatering was avaiable. I have allready booked for next year!!

I have stayed at many Airbnbs/Booking.com apartments and I have to say this is one of the best. From friendly greetings from Vanessa and her family, to an apartment that is spacious, in great condition and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The apartment is also in such a perfect central location. I will definitely be back on my annual trip to Hermanus. I only hope the apartment I am heading to next is anywhere near as good as this one!!! I’d highly recommend it and it warrants its star rating.

The house is well equipped and spacious. It is located in the heart of Hermanus within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the cliff path. We had delicious breakfasts at the coffee shop on the corner and lots of enjoyable walks around Hermanus (we hardly had to drive anywhere!). Vanessa was communicative, helpful and friendly.
