"Amazing experience!"

Highly recommend! The stay was very cozy and the house has everything you need. Very well equipped. The host is also super friendly and she even gifted us some local fresh milk and yogurt!

"Absolutely wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage"

This property is really beautiful with absolutely everything you could possibly need (we have never been to a better equipped self catering place before). Our host Alba really went above and beyond for us and I would highly recommend Pear Tree Cottage to others.

"We had a most relaxing stay in a well-equipped cottage set in magnificent surroundings."

The cottage is in immaculate condition, with all that is needed for a really relaxing stay. Dave and Alba were wonderful hosts. The garden is magnificent, with a fantastic view of the three Hogsback peaks. We can highly recommend Peartree Cottage!

There is little, if anything, that we didn't like.

"Simply the best."

We have stayed in many self catering places throughout South Africa, but Peartree Cottage is simply the best. The cottage is extremely well furnished and the owners' attention to detail is incredible. There was absolutely nothing missing, especially the kitchen is a dream. Really appreciated the Nespresso machine together with a good selection of coffee capsules. The fireplace in the lounge with a good supply of firewood was unfortunately a necessity in Hogsback, we knew that it can get pretty cold in Hogsback. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, you could not wish for better hosts. They go out of their way to ensure a pleasant and perfect stay. Overall, there are not enough words to give Peartree Cottage the credit it deserves. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The extremely up-market furnishings, decor, appliances and equipment, and the finer touches which one might expect only in a 5 star apartment! The comfort and luxury we enjoyed were far more than expected, and so very much appreciated.
