South Stack Bungalow

Have stayed at property previously not as clean as last visit looking a little tired, welcome wine and chocolates was a nice touch.

Lovely spacious bungalow. Excellent location to sight see the islands. Everything we needed Lovely chocolates/wine and flowers on arrival

Very quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac. Had everything we needed and the beds were really comfy. On arrival, the Owner had left us some lovely chocolates and wine which was a nice touch. Also a big vase of flowers in the lounge. Sky TV was a bonus. Had a gazebo in the garden which was nice too. Even a big net set up and badminton sets to use.

had not been hoovered under chairs and sofas in loounge hoover didn’t work so couldn’t put right. A broom may have helped

Comfortable beds with nice bed linen/towels. Good location as a base to travel short distances in the car to places of interest. Nice garden and bonus use of badminton net. Appreciated the wine, flowers& chocolates upon arrival. However…

The bathroom DID NOT meet standard expectations and sadly let the property down. The grouting/tiling all around the bath and shower was MOULDY and BLACK and made using the bath/shower unpleasant. Not acceptable for paying guests. The curtains in one of the bedrooms do NOT fit/ meet in the middle so let in light and don’t provide privacy- despite another traveller mentioning this LAST YEAR in their review in summer 2021. I was IGNORED BY THE HOST&’OWNERS’when I asked for a response about the condition of the bathroom , and they DID NOT RESPOND to customer services from booking.com either. PLEASE care about, and LOOK AFTER YOUR GUESTS IF YOU ARE TAKING THEIR WELL-EARNED MONEY.

Good facilities in the kitchen, nice big garden for the children.

Beds were very uncomfortable. The property was tired and in need of a refurb. Needed a deep clean under sofas etc. Garden area isn’t enclosed as stated and the uneven slaps and old metal pole are dangerous for young children. Could be so much better with a refurb. Location is a bit out from the tourist attractions but it’s not too far if you don’t mind travelling across the island.

Lovely touch of chocs, wine and flowers for our arrival. Towels and bed sheets were crisp white and smelt lovely and fresh. We had an issue with bins. The wheelie bin outside was already jammed full when we arrived and the kitchen bin was broken. Host immediately rectified by arranging for a replacement kitchen bin and an empty wheelie bin to be delivered to us. Brilliant service.

Floors were not very clean. Unable to open window in bedroom. Host was already aware of this so I’m sure it will be fixed asap.
