A lovely cottage opposite the beach and near a coastal walk. Very thoughtful host had provided everything we needed for a great stay. Loved this place.

The views, the location, the relaxed vibe of the place, and thoughtful touches like blankets in the lounge and for outsie, and the host's kind correspondence.

Location, location, location!!! Could not have been better.

Unfortunately we couldn't use the bbq as it was rusty and old. The pillows were a tad small and quite thin.

Gail's house was like a sanctuary, with sweeping views of Kaikoura. It is central, and close to everywhere. I love how cozy her house is, with everything you need for a short stay.

The relaxed 'cottage' feel in a peaceful location and a fabulous view out over the ocean. The cottage was clean and tidy and had all of the things we needed for a family getaway. Great communication from our host.

Great kichen, amazing view, safe neighbour, nice hostess Gail is considerable and gracious. She offered to pick us up at the I-site bus station. She even arrived earlier than us.She offered to take us to the supermarket even though it rained that night.Because of her, we would get nice breakfast. On the morning when we headed to Christurch, She took us again to the bus station and we also had a last look at the seals. We couln't imagine what we could do without her. Thanks so much! We welcome her to China in the coming future. We consider her as our good friend and would like to return the favour as she did for us. Ps: We valued her suggestion and had an amazing dophin encounter.My dream came true when I was surrounded by hundreds of them.Even i didn't swim with them. I had the whole boat to myself for others were the swimmers.I stood on the deck, singing. For the first time in my life, I felt so small.

Our family loved the spectacular views of the sea and coastline and location of K’orca Cottage. We loved that we could easily walk to the incredible Peninsular Track along the coast and the South Bay Track into town. The cottage was warm and cozy even in the middle of the winter, including thoughtful bed warmers, space heaters and lots of blankets. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of dishes and equipment so we easily cooked and heated up our meals for a week. There were also plenty of comfortable furniture to relax and watch the gorgeous view of the sea and wildlife. Gail was also very responsive and helpful. Thanks so much for a lovely stay, Gail!
