Amazing welcoming spacious home in heart of Kirkwall

It was cozy and spacious at the same time. We felt right at home.

Everything was perfect!

The property was brilliant. Perfect for a family that wants to stay in Kirkwall. The location was amazing. Everything that Kirkwall had to offer was basically at your fingertips. Walk out the door and your in the town centre. The house was clean and has everything you need. It also has its own car space so you never have to worry about finding a space.

It really is hard to say!! We pretty much found it faultless. If I was being hyper critical the only thing for me would be a king size bed in the family bedroom rather than a double.

Donald and Sara are fantastic hosts, easy to contact and very accommodating. On the day I was due to check in, my flight was late and the weather had turned. Sara kindly picked me up from the airport.

The hosts were excellent: even though we arrived late in the evening they were there to hand us the key and introduce us to the house. They also had a welcome basket with breakfast ready for us. The house was very comfortable and had all we needed, including a kitchen to cook. Location was just in the middle of Kirkwall and close to the bus station, so excellent to explore Orkney.

The whole place was really comfortable and well laid out. We settled in really quickly. Beds were incredibly comfortable, very good TV app options and plenty of dishes and kitchen implements. Great location in the town centre just off the main shopping street and very handy for restaurants and bars. This place had a bit of character to it which we really liked.

This is a wonderful place to stay. A home from home! the owners go above and beyond to make your stay as well equipped and comfortable as possible. The facilities are fantastic. We had everything we needed and more! the property has lovely decor and furnishings. the kitchen is so well equipped. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the living room is a lovely family space. The extras provided were very much appreciated, we were travelling with a toddler and owners kindly provided some toys, a travel cot and children’s cutlery / crockery. We really felt so well looked after. You can tell they put so much effort in for their guests. There is a great choice for your technology as a smart TV and fire stick is provided. Lots of cosy bedding and towels etc. The location is excellent and we were provided with a parking permit too which is super. You can walk anywhere around Kirkwall quite easily from the house. Highly recommended!!

Central location. Welcome basket. Personal touch with Christmas decor- very welcoming.

More vehicles in area outside house during the day than expected, but should have known this as it's a business area around the house. Quiet in the evening and overnight.

Near the Street and Shops. Lovely house so homely I didn’t want to leave. Good shower, comfy beds, cosy. What more could you ask for.
