Black Mountains Stylish Hideaway, nr Crickhowell

Beautiful location and very nice interior, finished to a high standard. Very trusting host leaving an amazing record collection out for use! Sauna was brilliant and log burner very cosy. Plenty of logs available at no extra charge, we even had the fire going ready for us on arrival. Huge comfy bed! Lots of books, magazines and games there to use which was great. Everything we needed was in the kitchen, including tea and coffee, spices etc. Loads of space and even an extra hidden bed :) Great shower too. Plus two friendly dogs and a sweet little cat!! Pictures don't do it justice!

Leaving :( We could have stayed for so much longer!

A stunning home in beautiful location away from it all. The hosts are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The hiking straight from the house into the mountains was exactly what we were after. The swimming pond is a great addition and we look forward to returning for a dip in warmer weather!

Loved it all

Beautiful property, the owners certainly understand interior design!! The property is well equipped and the furniture is super comfy. We were welcomed with some fresh eggs from the local hens, and there was fresh firewood and the log burner was prepped with kindling. The bathroom is well equipped with some lovely products, and the kitchen is great with lots of pans and knifes. Everything was spotless on arrival, and we can have no complaints about the property.

It's too far to walk to Crickhowell itself, and the road down to the cottage is a one track road: every time I went down it I prayed to the Gods of the Road that we didn't meet anything. But these are tiny things that did not affect our stay at all.

The location of this little house is absolutely perfect. Comfortable, cosy and tucked away in the hills. We went mountain biking from the door and enjoyed cooking and listening to music in the evening. A perfect place to stay for couples of a family. I would highly recommend.
