My girlfriend and I had the most amazing stay with Roberta and Marco in Menaggio. Their place was spotless and the hosts were one of the friendliest, most hospitable and welcoming people we have ever met. From the moment we arrived, Roberta and Marco made us feel at home and treated us as friends or relatives. Roberta picked us up in a car at the ferry, so we didn't have to carry our luggage. Marco did the same on our way back because it rained. They even offered us an umbrella to keep... There was a humper with delicacies for us to enjoy upon our arrival. It was a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. All in all, I hope we've become friends and they will visit us in our home The apartment itself was perfect. It was clean, stylish, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room had everything to help us feel cosy and comfortable. The bedroom was large and had a very large bed. The bathroom, just like the rest of the place, was spotlessly clean. There is another bedroom with a single bed and a bunk sleeping for children. We didn't use it, but it would be really lovely for families. The terrace was the highlight of the apartment. It was huge and had stunning views of the lake and mountains. We spent many hours relaxing there, enjoying Roberta's mini garden of flowers and herbs, eating our meals or reading books in reclining chairs. You get the picture. Roberta and Marco were also very helpful throughout our stay. They were always available to answer our questions and give us recommendations. They also went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We would highly recommend Roberta and Marco's place to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in Menaggio. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Lake Como and superb for everybody - hikers, explorers, food aficionados. You name it.

When we arrived to the apartment we were greeted by the owner. She showed us around and we had a great talk. We arrived by car so the out- and inside parking spot was great. The apartment was exactly like on the pictures. We had everything we needed that was available in the apartment. Also the view on the terrace is amazing! The centre of Menaggio is like a 7 to 10 minute walk from the apartment. From there you have a great view of the lake and get the ferry to other towns around the lake. All in all it was a great stay and huge value for the location! Definitely recommend it to anyone trying to find a stay around Lake Como.

Not exactly a con but take into account that you have to do a lot of walking when not taking the car. It's walking up- and downhill. This counts for most villages around Lake Como.

Everything. Really relaxed feel to the place and actually much nicer than the pictures allude to. It was really well equipped.

We liked it all. The only thing that would be a real bonus is air conditioning if you’re here during hot weather.

Excellent host. Very comfortable and beautiful views. Kindly allowed us to use the bikes at the property.

Nothing with property. Unable to hire pedal powered (non-motorised or non-e-bikes) in area which was disappointing.

Location was great very quiet

Nothing we loved it. Please do note though if you aren't fit there are many steps from Mennagio centre up to the apartment.

So friendly, and such a lovely home! Owner helped with recommendations and even gave us a lift to the ferry! can’t thank you enough!

Very well equipped and clean apartement. Enough space for 5 (3 adults+2 children). Host was helpful. Location is walking distance from centrum, huge terrace is having view to the lake.

Robi and her son Liam were great. The apartment is roomy, comfortable and clean. It was a nice size balcony with a lovely view. The location itself is away from the hustle and bustle, but not far. The walk to and from town is charming, but does contain many stairs so might be an issue if you have mobility problems. Robi as a host was fantastic. She was always friendly and prompt with her response -regarding not just the apartment but with recommendations for activities or restaurants.

The only complaint I have (as a lazy American), is the lack of air conditioning. We were also there during some particularly hot days, so it made it a little worse. Overall a fantastic place to stay!
