The apartment was cozy and clean. Just 10 minutes to the central beach. You could also go swimming just 5 minutes from the house. The apartment is located in a quiet and cozy place away from noisy clubs and any parties.Jjust 5-6 minutes Walking ddistanse to the main road, there is a small shop where you can buy groceries and necessary things. I would like to pay special attention to the owners of the apartment, Luigi and Giovanna, they are wonderful ,kind and sympathetic people who always helped us in any needs.I had some health problems and they helped right away and made sure that the vacation ended happily . Mandela is about 25 minutes away by car, a taxi will not be cheap, around 35 euros one way, but again fortunately Luigi helped us organize cheaper transportation, which made it easier to move around.There is also possebility to take a bus wich cost just 2 euro. Personally, we got to the beach every day either on foot or on a scooter. It is very convenient and fast.Also in the center of Mandello there is a Promenade where in the evening there are a lot of restaurants and various stalls. There are several apartments left in this house, all the neighbors are calm and quiet and the owner Luigi makes sure that people relax there without any noisy parties.

This is a beautiful little get away for anyone wanting to visit Palermo/Mondello. The location is perfect with a fantastic local shop and a few great bars literally at the bottom of the hill, and the beach a short walk away. If you have a car (or definitely recommend a scooter) it’s not far from the city centre and uber’s/busses don’t take long at all if not. The apartment itself has everything you need and is fully equipped with ample cooking facilities/equipment. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning and makes a perfect spot for an evening dinner/drinks. Giovanna was lovely and made us feel very welcome and accommodated our whole stay. There’s really nothing missing, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying in sicily!

Friendly host, pretty quiet area. Apartment was well equipped.

I do not want to make this into a negative review, because the host tried to do her best for us to have a good stay, but I will add details that I wish I paid more attention to/knew, when booking: -the location is far from the beach area (30 min walk, not estimated, but real), and is on a road located uphill. Not ideal after waking 30 min coming back. The beach that is mentioned in the description as 300 m distance is rocky and cannot be used. -the apartments are floor/basement level, with garden view, there is no sea view from the apartments, only if you go up to the terrace. Pictures are misleading here. -there are 2 distinct apartments that the host is renting out, one is very small. -there is no cleaning service included (room cleaning), you get towels and sheets on arrival, no change during your stay. we have stayed 7 nights and changing the sheets was with extra charge. You have the possibility of washing them yourself, as the apartament is fully stocked. Overall is a lovely area to stay, but if you don't have a car/scooter, I would not recommend it, as the public transport is terrible ( they don't respect the timetables)

The hosts were absolutely lovely, they were really helpful and took us to the supermarket and the airport and let us have a later check out as we had a layer flight. We loved mondello and the b&b it was so comfortable with great air conditioning (something quite important to us). The kitchen had everything, the bed was comfy and shower was good.

My only criticism which isn’t really anything to do with the property is there is a fairly steep hill to walk up but we managed fine.

We spent very nice tíme in this apartment. The apartment’s equiment includes everything a couple needs. Giovanna was very friendly and helpful. The view was absolutely amazing.
