fantastic place, fantastic host that went above and beyond when we had car issues and even left some chocolates and milk to start us off when we arrived for the all important tea.

only downside was location as we couldn't walk to shops but we booked it knowing that so its no fault of the cottage

The property is east to find with the detailed instructions supplied beforehand. It is in a beautiful, quiet rural location. The ‘cottage’ is actually more of an annexe, as it is part of a larger house. Unlike a separate cottage can can hear people talking and moving around water running etc. On entering the property, you come into a delightful living room area with comfortable furnishings. Adjoining this is a well equipped kitchen looking out over a pleasant rural view. Upstairs a good bathroom and shower and the bedroom. A very attractive property.

The bed is a small, uncomfortable double. If you are used to good angle, queen or king size beds- think again. We were booked for 3 nights but forfeited the 3rd night due to poor sleep quality. There is no comfortable old seating either. Just an old wooden bench out the back and 2 hard metal, ‘cafe style’ seats and a small table out the front.

Location and probity to Forest walks.

Fantastic location. Everything you need for a short break. Loved there was milk & Welsh cakes provided. Gorgeous views. Cute dogs happy to enjoy a cwtch.
