Spacious house attached to the owners' dwelling. Harmony with nature. Very homey with well-appointed details.

We could never figure out how to lock the doors (but the area seemed so safe anyway)!

Peaceful, spotless and hosts attended to detail was second to none, everything catered for. Can not fault and will definitely return

The perfect place for a Christmas Eve hideaway. Peaceful location and very comfortable. The cottage was warm on arrival and had everything I needed. The owner was was very friendly and helpful. I have every intention of returning in the summer.

The cottage was so quiet and comfortable. I felt completely safe there and it was lovely to meet Bridget and Ollie Dog. I couldn't have felt more welcomed. Everything was so clean and I had all the utensils I needed. A lovely big bathroom as well. After a day of VERY WET & MUDDY mountain bike riding in the Forest of Dean, it was wonderful to come back and be able to clean up and relax in such a cosy space. Plenty of room for my car on the drive and directly outside the front door - perfect given the rain we had that weekend! Bridget even said I could bring my e-bike in to charge it up. Nothing felt like a big deal so I was completely relaxed. The directions given before I arrived helped immensely.

Very spacious for just me and easily big enough for two. The bed and bedding were absolutely splendid - shame I wasn't able to have any lie-ins. The food goodies and milk left ready for me were greatly appreciated!

Although self-contained, you are very much within someone else's home.
