Mauro was a wonderful host and communication was prompt and easy throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. He even arranged his friend to pick us up from the train station and dropped us back then we were leaving. Thank you Mauro

It so in the heart of the historical city, and also it had an unique charm. Mauro and Gabrielle were the best! Since we came by train they also came and took us from the station, and Mauro also prepared some cookies as a welcome gift to us (they were delicious). Also, the communication was great. I really recommend this place!

Great location. Gabriel met as at the accomodation and helped carry our luggage to the room. Everything was well maintained and the welcome cookies was a nice touch.

Note that because the apartment is really central, you may experience late night noise on the weekends.

Mauro was an excellent host. Great communication and the apartment had everything we needed. We even got a pick up from the local train station! The rooftop terrace is absolutely fantastic for sunset drinks or enjoying a morning coffee.

The property was very close to the old town centre

Too noisy - the ground floor bedroom should not be used as a bedroom. the bed was approximately one metre from a busy street - which remained busy until the early hours of the morning and then became noisy again at 5:45 when the garbage collectors started collecting the glass. The apartment was supposed to have a couch - there was none, and it wouldn't have fitted in the space anyway. The kitchen was not functional - there was no electric power point to safely use the kettle, which we sat on a kitchen chair near the single power point. Neither the light nor the fan above the stove functioned. Although the photos accompanying the apartment, on the website, showed access to a terrace this was only available to two of the other apartments - the host did advise us of this fact but we failed to appreciate it's importance. Our daughter, who occupied the upstairs bedroom, had a reasonable nights sleep, but my wife and I (after one night of very poor sleep) decided to cut short our stay, and we forfeited two nights accommodation - moving out to another booking.com property inland from Monopoli.

Location of the apartment and the terrace was amazing and stole the show! Host picked us up from the train station and it was really helpful and nice. I strongly recommended that place to stay. Location is the best possible in the area.

Mauro, the host is very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect, the terrace is fabulous.

The apartment is located right in the centre, walking distance to everything we need. Our children loved walking along the beach and looked for some crabs in the rocks. We are surrounded by good restaurants and shops. It's very convenient to have this place. Locals are very friendly and helpful. We also feels safe in this area. Mauro: the owner was so kind to pick us up from Monopoli train station. He made our trip more memorable with his kindness.

The location in Monopoli is excellent, so central. You can walk all around the old town easily. We were picked up at the train station and taken to the property, and returned back to the train station by car at the end of our stay. The small apartment is well equipped with what you need to self cater, if you prefer.

Wish I had booked earlier and gotten the room with the verandah, so we could have eaten outside. Not a criticism, just a note. This is a lovely old building. we had two big bags and the stairs to the second floor were narrow . While it did have two bedrooms, one bedroom was downstairs. the only bathroom was upstairs. We chose to use the upstairs bedroom, to be closer to the bathroom, rather than negotiate the stairs in the night.

Mauro received us very well at his home. The location is great, close to great restaurants and beautiful beaches. I really want to go back.
