Casa Rebecca 14

Casa Rebecca 14 is a GEM in the middle of the historic district!! It is located on a quiet side street steps from all the action, restaurants, harbor, seawall, and beaches. Our host thought of everything!! Beautifully decorated, immaculate, and ideally located. If you drive as we did, we parked in the free public parking and made the walk to the historic district but you may pay to park closer. Our three-night stay in Monopoli was our base to visit beaches in lovely St. Vito ( great swimming), go sea kayaking in the caves of Polignare a Mare, and swim and lounge at quiet St. Stephan beach club to return each evening to enjoy dinners and nightlife in Monopoli. Thank You, thank you!

Everything was wonderful! The price point is great! I would advise future travelers to pre-plan parking because the area is very busy and access to taxis or Uber could become costly if walking to the Public Parking is an issue or not possible.

Rita was an exceptional host. Our room was absolutely beautiful and gorgeously decorated, even more beautiful than the photos.The location was perfect close to restaurants and bars and the water. The room had great facilities . Rita was always there to help with anything . Our stay there was a little piece of heaven ✨️

Mold smell

Super beautiful and quiet accommodation in the city center. Rita, the owner, was so sweet. She gave us recommendations for restaurants and beaches. She doesn't speak English, but that's not a problem at all. The accommodation is 4 minutes from the beach and 1 minute from the main promenade, where are cafes, restaurants and bars. If I go to Monopoli again, I will definitely stay at Casa Rebecca.

Casa Rebecca was an excellent place to stay for a week. It is right in the heart of the historical centre, but also only a 3 min walk to the beach. I was met at the station by the owner Rita who was lovely and she actually checked on me everyday with a message in the morning. The home is very clean and spacious. The bed is comfy, the wifi is strong and the shower was nice and hot. The best thing though was how cool it was inside, which was heaven after these 35 degree days, no need for A/C to be used. I definitely recommend this place to stay.

I recently stayed for two nights at Casa Rebecca in Monopoli, and while my experience had its ups and downs, I wanted to share an honest review without sounding too harsh. Firstly, I found the accommodation to be a bit overpriced considering the absence of windows in the room. Additionally, we encountered a roach during our stay, which was promptly dealt with by the host using a sweeper. However, my primary concern at Casa Rebecca was the host’s behavior. While I understand everyone has their own style of communication, I feel it would be beneficial for her to consider a more guest-focused approach. When we arrived, she spent a considerable amount of time discussing and complaining about previous guests, despite our fatigue and desire to rest. Furthermore, the host requested a 100 euro warranty upon arrival, which I promptly provided without objection. However, she continued to explain, at length, that she had already mentioned this requirement in writing, even though I had not raised any concerns. Her excessive talking and perspiration made the conversation uncomfortable. During our stay, she made recommendations for places to eat and suggested boat rides, albeit in a manner that I personally found disagreeable. When I mentioned needing transportation to the train station, approximately 10 minutes away by car, she informed me that the local taxi would cost 50€. Surprisingly, other taxi services quoted 15€, causing some confusion. Despite these issues, I appreciated that she accompanied us to the train station for a reduced fare of 10€. She also kindly shared fresh fruits from her garden as a gesture of goodwill. However, even at the end of our trip, she mentioned that I had been too direct and harsh in my speech, insinuating that others might have responded negatively.

Everything was great, great place in the perfect Location and many cute details, super clea. Bellissimo :)
